Born n brought up in Mumbai, Vajahat Hussain is a commerce graduate, holds diplomas in Photography and Adeebe Kaamil Urdu, Having published his Poetry Compilation "Nauras" and four books on history of music. He has traveled more than 16 countries for musi concerts, scored music for telefilms and has sung film songs as well. The Dilrang Academy is doing a yoemens service in the field of Indian Music and Fine arts. With very limited sources and support this Academy has so far organised more than 65 Music Festivals, Mushairas, Debates and Kavi Sammelans in Mumbai. With guardianship of his Guru and Matternal Uncle the legendary late USTAD ASLAM KHANSAHAB and very able moral support of Mrs Vrinda Mundkur(Joint Secretary) the Dilrang Academy is prospering slowly but steadily.
