Archana Sunjay is the Director and Principal of Madhurita Sarang School of Kathak, a renowned Arts school in Maharashtra. Archana learned the great art from different schools of Kathak under the eminent maestros and gurus, Ms Lalita Hardas, Mr Narsingji Bode, Late Nrityashree Madhurita Sarang and Pt Rajendraji Gangani.
‘Global Warming’, ‘Ase Pavasache Yene’, Nrityarch’, Kathak Fusion’ are some of the worth mentioning, extremely well received and awesome performances-choreographies presented by Mrs. Archana Sunjay. She has performed at numerous places and various students of her are performing in India and overseas. Disciples of her institute are the winners of a variety of national and international level competitions. The school is one of the leading dance schools in Maharashtra. Established in the year 2004, the institution was initially run under the banner of ‘Kathak Sadhana Kendra’. After the sad demise of her guru, Late Nrityashri Madhurita Sarang, Archana rechristened her own institute after the name of her guru with a sole purpose of keeping her memories alive.
