Biography

Ramdas Palsule is a very familiar name to the worshipers of Hindustani music as an intellectual tabla player from the Farukkabad gharana who has carved a niche for himself at a very young age. He is a versatile Tabla player and one of the senior most disciples of the famous Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. Being an accomplished soloist as well as a versatile accompanist, he has performed widely in all the eminent music festivals of India. He has toured with several artists throughout the world including USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Africa and the Gulf Countries. He has provided accompaniment to vocalists and instrumental music including Santoor, Sitar, Mohan Veena. His forte is Indian Classical music, which is unique in itself, and is renowned the world over.

Career

Besides performances, Ramdas imparts training to the younger generation of students of tabla. He is also appointed as a Guru in the Centre for Performing Arts of the University of Pune. He has performed in major music festivals of India. He has travelled to several countries including USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Africa and the Gulf Countries with several singers.

He has also performed along with many instrumental music players. Ramdas Palsule accompanied many Indian classical musicians including Late Jitendra Abhisheki,

Jasraj, Shivkumar Sharma, Ulhas Kashalkar, Shahid Parvez, Sultan Khan, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Tarun Bhattacharya, N. Rajam, Ronu Majumdar, Purbayan

Chatterjee, Malini Rajurkar, Padma Deshpande, Veena Sahastrabuddhe.He has provided tabla accompanied in Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Festival to many artists

in last many years. Recently he accompanied tabla in 62nd Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Festival to Purbayan Chatterjee and Padma Deshpande.
