   Biography
Bharat Telang represents the new generation of Gwalior Gharana of Hindustani Classical music. He has been trained by his father Dr. Gangadhar Rao Telang and uncle Pt. Krishna Narayan Telang in Khayal Gayki, who are the two stalwarts of Gwalior Gharana and worthy sons of great saint musician late Pt. Nanubhai Telang.

Born in the family of Gurus, Bharat Telang has followed the tradition in passing his knowledge on to the next generation. He has contributed largely as the founder Principal of 'Shri Nanubhai Sangeet Mahavidyalaya' Kanpur affiliated to 'Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal', Mumbai, where he is also a regular examiner for several years now. He is also a member of Executive Council of Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.

   Career
Bharat Telang has performed with his elder brother Pt. Vikas Telang in Jugalbandi. He has also performed in various recognized and well known organizations across the country. Such as -

   Awards & Achievements
Bharat Telang achieved Upaadhis of  'Naad Sadhak'  by Sangeet Kala Kendra,  Agra and 'Kaladhar' by Shree Hari Sangeet kala Kendra, Ujjain.
