Meenal Natu

Meenal Natu is an emerging talent in the realm of Hindustani classical music. Meenal started her initial training in music from renowned vocalist of Kirana Gharana Dr. Ushatai Parkhi from Nagpur.Thereafter she pursued to learn the style of Jaipur Atrauli in depth from the well known exponent of Jaipur Atrauli Gharana exponent,  Gana Saraswati  Padma Vibhushan Smt. Kishoritai Amonkar. Meenal also took guidance from a well known vocalist of Jaipur Atrauli Gharana Smt.Vijaya Jadhav Gathlewar, Shri. Ramesh Rajhans of Delhi Gharana. Blessed  with a melodious and deep soulful voice which has been groomed over the years.  Meenal’s style of singing is a perfect blending of Kirana, Jaipur Atrauli and Delhi gharana gayaki.

Meenal has performed in many music concerts all over India as well as abroad such as:

 Prachin Kala Kendra - Chandigarh,

 Megh Utsav- Mumbai,

 Gandharva Mahavidyalya - Navi Mumbai,

 Pandit Kishan Maharaj smruti samaroha- Varanasi, 

 Murchhana Festival - Delhi,  Swaranjali - Bangkok, etc.

 She has been able to present classical as well as semi classical and devotional compositions with equal intensity in all her performances. Tunefulness, confidence of rhythm, purity in exposition of Raga, complex patterning of 'Taan', speed & clarity are a few other qualities of her singing.
