   Career
Deepak's passion, understanding and training of music led him into the world of arrangement and music direction. In 25 odd years, he has had the pleasure and honor of working with almost all the renowned Artistes from India, and has performed live on National and International platforms. Deepak has composed and arranged more than 50 music albums for T-series, Tips, Venus and many other companies, Deepak has also composed songs and background music for many Gujarati, Bangla, Punjabi and Marathi films.

Innovation and experimentation have always been Deepak's forte. His dream is to leave a legacy behind and thus was born this rare concept, of blending the playing styles of instruments like the santoor, sitar, mandolin, and creating his own unique identity and style of playing ‘The Grand Piano’.

While, Beethoven and other Western Classical Composers’ pieces, can be interpreted on a Piano, it’s rather unconventional to witness Hindustani Classical Raagas resonating off the keys of a Grand Piano. The most fascinating aspect of the Piano is the range of 6 to 8 octaves, which is unimaginable in the context of Hindustani classical music.

Today, Deepak Shah is one of the very few Indian Classical Raaga Pianist, whose U.S.P. is playing the 'Classical' Raagas on the western 'Classic Grand Piano’, thereby creating a magical place where 'The Classical Meets The Classic'
