Achal Mehta

Achal Mehta started singing at the age of nine years. His first performance was in primary school, singing The National Anthem. Once his potential was recognized, he represented his school at the Youth Festival which was held at State level and won the 1st position. Year 2012 marks Achal Mehta’s journey of 33 rd year in the field of Rass-Garba and Sugam sangeet. Gifted with a natural and rich baritone voice Achal has become household name in Vadodara,India and overseas too, and has created some evergreen hits like Vhlam ni Vansali Vagi,  Maa No Garbo, Shard Poonam  Ni Rat Ma .Achal is extremely adept in producing all techniques, characteristic features of the light classical and light music and is a master of the aspects of tonal variations and rhythmic dynamics and has indescribable ability to create a genuine impact on listeners. Achal with his group is also actively associated with Toronto  based  the Swar Sadhana Music Lovers Club headed by Mr. Jay Bhavsar. He is also involved with producing music for Radio Sheetal Sangeet, a 24 x7 Gujarati Web Online radio owned by Ms Hassu Bihari Sthankiya.

Achal truly symbolizes the real spirit of Rishabh. He also gave few appealing compositions which are already recorded. All new compositions of  Mazham Raat became popular during Navratri 2007, out of which Akhuye Gaam composed by  Achal  Mehta and sung by Dewangi  Jadeja became a instant hit amongst all music lovers. Seven beautiful  heart touching ghazals written by Kaisers ul  zafri sahib, Ahmad  faraz, saheb and Hassan naim saheb were conceived, composed and sung by Achal Mehta himself and music is given by Kaushik  Mistry, music director of Rishabh Group.
