   Biography
Chintan  Katti, born in a musical family, is the Son and Disciple of renowned  Sitarist Pt. Shashank Katti. Chintan started learning Sitar at a very young age. From then, responding to his father's profound teachings, Chintan’s music has blossomed into a unique style that reflects the 'gayaki ang' on the sitar. Chintan’s Music is a combination of unique tone, Innovative skills and befitting clarity. Chintan has also received training from is Elder brother Shri. Chirag Katti. Chintan is one of the promising young Sitarist of future Generation. At a young age Chintan has won many prizes and has performed on television, radio and concerts all over India and Abroad

Chintan  has Collaborated with Renowned  French Musicians in a Five City Concert Tour in India  named   "Leçons de ténèbres & Raga de la nuit" which was the combination of the old Baroque Music and Indian Classical Music Organised by Alliance Francaise. 

• Performed at the Birla Mandir (Kolkatta)  for the concert series Leçons de ténèbres & Raga de la nuit organised by Alliance Francaise.

• Performed at Kalakshetra Foundation (Chennai)  for the concert series Leçons de ténèbres & Raga de la nuit organised by Alliance Francaise.

• Performed at Tribal Museum (Bhopal)  for the concert series Leçons de ténèbres & Raga de la nuit organised by Alliance Francaise. 

• Performed at Gujarati Sahitya Parishad (Ahmedabad)  for the concert series Leçons de ténèbres & Raga de la nuit organised by Alliance Francaise.

*National level Gold Medalist of All India Youth Festival where in more that 100 universities had participated.

* Graded Artist of All India Radio

* Has won inter collegiate festivals including Umang, Malhar, kshitij etc.

*Recently Chintan toured France for his Solo Classical Concerts(10 concerts) which were highly appreciated by the French Audience.
