Biography

Rajesh Shringarpure is an Indian film actor who appears in Hindi, Marathi and Hollywood films. Rajesh is best known for his negative role in Sarkarr Raj. He also played an important role in Murder 3 .

This talented actor has been in Hindi as well as Marathi entertainment industry for almost twelve years. His work in controversial Marathi film ‘Zenda’ was well-recognised. In Zenda, Rajesh had played the role of a protagonist who walks out of the Political party formed by his beloved uncle, to form another political party; only because he does not get along well with his cousin. His character resembled with that of Raj Thackeray in real life. Today, Rajesh is doing extremely well, with many films lined up for release.

Rajesh Shringarpure worked in a Hindi serial, Sahib, Biwi Aur Ghulam, co-starring Raveena Tandon and Ayub Khan, (Sahara One). He also did serials including Saarrthi (STAR Plus as Lord Krishna), and Char Diwas Sasuche, a Marathi daily on ETV Marathi. He gained popularity from films including Zenda and Swarajya Marathi Paul Padate Pudhe.

In 2012, Rajesh played Waseem, a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent in John Stockwell-directed Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden which recently premiered in the US prior to the US presidential elections. He has completed shooting for another Hollywood project titled Gandhi Of The Month in which he worked with American actor Harvey Keitel. Rajesh is also working on Shortcut Romeo followed by a crossover film that stars Dev Patel where he plays a villain. He appeared in Marathi Action film Sangharsh which was realeased in Feb 2014 .
