Aradhana Deshpande is a veteran stage, film and television
actor based in Mumbai, India. She has worked in both Marathi and Hindi
languages in all the three mediums of performance. She has also been a Radio
Artist on the All India Radio (AIR) service Akashvani, and has presented many stage
shows.
In her Marathi stage career, Aradhana has worked with such
big names as Vinay Apte, Suresh Khare, Bal Kolhatkar, Vijay Gokhale, Ranjan
Darvhekar and established institutes like Natyasampada and Doordarshan. Her
notable stage work includes the plays ‘One Room Kitchen’, ‘Tula Havay Tari Kay’, and ‘Raigadala Jevha Jag Yete’.
Aradhana has played many memorable roles in Marathi films
like ‘Aai Pahije’, ‘De Tali’, ‘Fekafeki’ and ‘Rangat Sangat’. She is also known
for her work in Bollywood films including the popular ‘Panaah’ with Naseeruddin
Shah and Pallavi Joshi, ‘Sanam Hum Hai Apke’ and ‘Bedardi’.
Coming to Television, Aradhana Deshpande portrayed important
characters in serials produced by Adhikari Brothers. ‘Paramveer’, ‘Hello Inspector’, ‘Bandini’, ‘Dhananjay’ and ‘Damini’ were some of her notable works for Adhikari
Brothers. She went on to play many interesting roles in popular serials like
‘Tanda Chalala’, ‘Aai’, ‘Ek Hota Raja’ and ‘Char Divas Sasuche’. Her roles in Hindi
Serials such as ‘Kaun Apana Kaun Paraya’ for Sony, ‘Search’, ‘Khoj’, ‘Suhag’ and ‘CID’ have also gained popularity.
Apart from her successful career as an actor, Aradhana also
takes interest in Indian Classical Music, in which she has received a post
graduation.
