   Biography
Shri Pavitra Bhat – Bharatanatyam Performer
 
One of the most distinguished disciples of the renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Guru Shri Deepak Mazumdar and Achaarya Choodamani Smt. Anitha Guha took his initial training from Kalanjali under Kumari Vasantha.
 
Pavitra Bhat is an extremely vibrant and graceful performer.  It is a treat to watch him live on stage. Pavitra Bhat is a recipient of innumerable awards. He has conducted Bharatanatyam workshops in NCPA, Surat, Mumbai,Guwahati and Aliraajpur(MP), Pittsburg , Indonesia . He also had the fortune to perform along with his Guru for productions like Purandara Krishna, Guru Shishya,  Abhangavani,  Natyaveda.

Pavitra Bhat has also choreographed dance ballets Krishna Leela Tarangini, Radhe Radhe Govindha and  Krishnam  Vande  Jagatgurum. Pavitra is also trained in the art of conducting Nattuvangam and has the fortune of conducting Nattuvangam for his Guru Shri Deepak Mazumdar.

P.A.V.I. (Pavitra Art Visual Institute),  is a Bharatanatyam Institute established in a suburb of Mumbai by Pavitra Krishna Bhat. At present it has the strength of 300 students pursuing this art form.

   Career

The Institute
 
P.A.V.I. (Pavitra Art Visual Institute),  a Bharatanatyam Institute established in a suburb of Mumbai at present has the strength of 300 students pursuing this art form. Having completed Arangetram of 9 students currently is one the youngest but leading dance company of Mumbai. 3 students of the Institute have already been awarded with Govt. of India’s junior scholarship and also many students have won laurels in various competitions.
