Ramlalji of Raigadh Gharana), who’s expertise teaching transformed Tina from a raw talent into a confident performer. Tina’s passion to learnthe finer nuances of kathak brought her to Mumbai for advanced training in kathak from Pandita Uma Dograji, a leading Kathak exponent of the Jaipur Gharana and a Gandabandh Shagird of great Kathak Maestro Pt. DurgaLalji.

Rigorous training under the able guidance and exacting eyes of all her gurus helped Tina to excel in the art form and reach the heights of beauty and perfection. Apart from this she has also attended many workshops of Pt. Birju Maharaj, Shree Pratap Pawar, Shree Rajendra Gangani and Late Pt. Kelucharan Mohapatra (for Abhinaya).
