Biography

Satyajit Ramdas Padhye is a Gen-Next 'Ventriloquist and Puppeteer' and the finalist of India’s Got Talent, a reality show on Colors. He was also invited on Kaun Banega Crorepati to exhibit his talent where he opened the episode with Amitabh Bachchan. He has learnt this art from his father Ramdas Padhye. He has also assisted him for Tata Sky AD with Aamir Khan. Satyajit with his razor sharp wit & rib-tickling humor, can breathe life into any event with his hilarious and wacky characters.

If you have any idea on any given subject, Satyajit can work on it and perform with his hilarious puppets. Satyajit can perform for corporate shows, stand-up comedy shows, Bollywood Award Nights, Product Launch, performance in malls, wedding and engagement parties with Specialized Puppets based upon the theme, birthday party shows, etc.

Satyajit Padhye is the first Indian ventriloquist to represent India at the UNIMA World Puppetry Festival in China.

Satyajit Padhye is also a puppet maker. He designs custom-made puppets as the requirement and design of the client. He assists his father Ramdas Padhye in designing the puppet in their dedicated puppet-making Studio. Ramdas and his son Satyajit use work on the rough sketches, later use form, latex or any suitable material to make the puppets.

Career

Satyajit Ramdas Padhye has also performed in different malls for Walt Disney India and for many other corporate. The show in malls attracts family audience as his show has appeal among both children and adults.

Satyajit has also performed for many sangeet Events and Engagement Events where he has anchored the entire event with the help of the puppets which brought uniqueness to the entire event with customized script revolving around the bride and the groom.

Satyajit launched Perfetti Van Melle’s Centre Fresh Acti-Sport with a performance with the help of Specially Designed Puppet and customized script keeping in mind the Brand message.

* Represented “INDIA” at the World Festival of Puppet Art, Prague in June 2006 where 50 countries from around the world presented their shows.

* Lead Puppeteer for an Ad-Film for a Holland T.V. Channel.

* Special Puppet Film titled “ AIDS – The Deadline “ which is the first puppet film in India which creates awareness regarding AIDS & HIV.

* Lead Puppeteer for show called 'Big Bada Boom' on Disney Channel.

* Lead Puppeteer for corporate show for Siemens organized by Wizcraft.

* Puppeteer for a Puppet Film for ISKCON.

Satyajit has also done a Product Activation for HP Ink Advantage Printers with specially designed puppet.It was done across 10 cities in 10 different Malls in India simultaneously with show being performed 4 to 5 times during the working hours of the Mall.

Awards & Achievements

Satyajit is the First Indian Ventriloquist to represent India at the UNIMA World Puppetry Festival in China where 74 countries participated. He performed his show in English & Chinese and also won the 'Best Entertainment Act' Award at the Festival. He also made a professional quality puppet called 'Rapster' as Mascot for RAPPORT 2003, which was the anchor for various events in the festival.
