Siddhartha Sarkar has been learning from his father Shri. Kumud Ranjan Sarkar from the age of 15. Since the year 2004, he has been an in-house disciple of Padmavibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia and staying with him in his gurukul.  Also learning under the guidance of Smt. Kala Ramnath.

His aim as a performer is to have the privilege, to continue sharing his dedication and love for Indian classical and light music.
