   Biography
Nikhil  Ratnaparkhi calls himself an accidental actor since he came to Mumbai from Pune to become an illustrator. “I worked as an illustrator with advertising agencies," he said. "I came to Mumbai from Pune for this, but I accidentally became an actor. Ever since I have been involved with acting.”

He might be busy with movies these days, but advertisements continue to attract him. Ratnaparkhi says he must have done up to 400 ads till date. so he  hardly visits theatres these days.

Nikhil Ratnaparkhi is an Indian actor best known for his work in the Hindi and Marathi film industries. He has appeared in several TV commercials and TV shows as well including Krishna Kanhaiya, wherein he essays the character of Kanhaiya. He has appeared in a number of Hindi movies including Paheli (2005), OMG Oh My God! (2012), and Chalk and Duster (2016). He also starred in the Marathi movie Ventilator, Kaay Re Rascalaa.


Nikhil has worked in popular movies like The Dark Side Of Life Mumbai City.

   Career
Nikhil Ratnaparkh made his Bollywood debut in the film ‘Hava Aney De’. The film was a success, and he was greatly appreciated for his acting in the film. His performance in the film settled his career in Bollywood. Though he has not yet acted in any lead role, his supporting roles are as important as that of the lead role. In 2005, he appeared in another film called ‘Aai No. 1’ and later in the same year, he also acted in the film titled ‘Paheli’ as Banwari.The film was good but did not meet the expected success. Then in the year 2009, after a break of four years, he acted in a Marathi film ‘Gho Mala Asla Hawa’ as Bopya.

A year later in 2010, he acted in the comedy film ‘Tere Bin Laden’ which also starred actors like Vivek Oberoi. Then in 2011, he acted in the film ‘Mod’ as as Gangaram. In the same year, he also acted in the movie ‘Superstar’. In the year 2012, he starred in ‘Gola Berij’ and OMG: Oh My God. It starred and Paresh Rawal as the lead actors.
