The institute has by now trained many budding dancers some who have performed in many shows. Vkk has a repertory group of artists, which performs regularly in traditional shows as well as the new production of the institute.
In 1979 Mrs Asha Nambiar joined odissi dance centre which was pioneered by late Mrs Protima Bedi at SNDT University. She pursued the dance form under the fine guidance from Late Guru Shri Natabar Maharana and Late Smt. Mrs Protima Bedi. Her sincerety and dedication has acclaimed a lot of laurels from all over. She has been recipient of production grant in the year 2004 and also seminar grant 2005 from department of Culture, Government of India , New Delhi.
