Biography

Performer and a teacher also. Masters in Hindustani classical Vocal music from Bombay University in 2004 and I also hold a Sangeet Visharad degree.

Teaching Hindustani classical music in India and in the USA for last so many years.

Opened my own music school called " SAPTAK MUSIC SCHOOL" where I teach classical music to kids starting age 5 and to adults also.

Also like to teach Natyasangeet, Bhajans, Abhanga, Ghazals and Bhavgeete.

I have gotten training of Natyasangeet from renowned artist Vidushi Madhuwanti bai Dandekar.

Awards & Achievements

started learning Hindustani classical vocal at the age of 7 from her guru Shree Pradeep Natekar and then Pandit Arun Kashalkar .

She earned the prestigious degree of Sangeet –Visharad at age 18.

She and her husband Dr.Ashutosh Bapat have started an organization called Alaap- KC to promote Hindustani Classical music in the USA. They try to bring the artists from India every year.
