Shree Nagesh Adgaonkar is a Hindustani classical music vocalist started his musical training at the age of seven at Latur. He began his training in Indian classical music under the guidance of Pt. Vitthalrao Jagtap. He trained him up to ‘Sangeet Visharad’. Later, he moved to Lalit Kala Academy, enhancing his musical skills under the guidance of Dr. Rajendra kandalgaonkar, at the Savitribai Phule Pune University. After finishing his primary education in classical music he then moved to Kolkata to attain intensive training in a complete classical way under the guidance of great maestro ‘Ustad Rashid Khan’ of ‘Rampur Sahaswan Gharana’. He has successfully completed his musical training under Ustad Rashid Khan at his SBMT (Shakhri Begum Memorial trust) Academy. And still he is learning and gaining his knowledge about Indian classical music at SBMT Academy.
