I believe, Classical Dance, is the most beautiful therapy to relax and revive. It has the power to connect with inner self.
I am Ms. Sunayna Badrike and I am a Kathak dancer residing in Mumbai . I had my heart in dance since childhood, but as a hobby. As a teenager, I actively participated in college theater and then took up acting as a profession. Later I got a chance to act in Marathi drama “Lali Lila”, Marathi TV serial “Laksha”.
My love for dance and acting developed a desire to learn Kathak and I followed my heart.
I started learning Kathak from Aaradhna Fine Art Academy and was trained under Guru Smt. Smita More and Smt. Akanksha Srivastav and later assisted my Gurus as a faculty in their Academy. Even in current days, am getting the privilege to obtain advance training from my Guru Smt. Akanksha Srivastav from Lucknow.
I completed my Visharad from Gandharva Mahamandal Pune & Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh University and now pursuing Masters Degree from Pune university. I have been fortunate enough to attend Shri. Pandit Birju Maharaj ji’s Kathak workshop held in Mumbai since last 5 years.
