   Biography
Rajendra Dixit started learning music in his childhood at the age of 11 from his Guru Shri Pandit Jayaram Das ji, who created a base for classical music and learnt with him for almost 7 years. During those days Rajendra Dixit was also fortunate to have training from Shri Pandit Ranchodlal Vyas of Gwalior Gharana.

Rajendra Dixit fortunate to have training from Ustad Shaukat Hussain Khan (S/o Late Ustad Sharafat Hussain Khan of Agra Gharana) for seven years.He learnt Khayal presentation and also defining Raga in most presentable way with a command over Gayaki i.e. a mixture of Taal and Sur.

Rajendra Dixit has also been guided by “Padma Shree” and “Padma Bhushan” Dr. Prabha Atre of Kirana Gharana.


Rajendra Dixit is graded and approved Classical Vocalist of All India Radio & Television.

Rajendra Dixit has given a number of Solo performances in many cities of India as well as abroad. He was also invited to perform in Music festivals and Concerts.

He was invited as a Judge for BMM 2013 “Sa Re Ga Ma” to select best talents from Toronto, Canada.
