   Biography
An accomplished dancer, Gyanendra Bajpai is traditionally trained in Tanjore style of Bharatanatyam classical dance under the able tutelage of Padmashri Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan. Through his captivating Bharatanatyam dance recitals, he has enthralled audiences all over India and abroad He has been awarded by many institutions and associations for his contribution to the field of dance. He has choreographed many beautiful ballets which have been appreciated not only by the mases but also by the critics. He has started teaching dance  to preserve , propagate and promote this sacred art form to the next generation. Gyanendra has been on deputation to Indian Culture Centre, Tokyo for imparting nuances of Bharatanatyam dance in Japan. He won Gino-sho 07' by World Dance Festival in Japan for the best technique in dance.

Gyanendra Bajpai has performed in India and abroad at various places like-

Besides these, Gyanendra has choreographed many dances like - Jugalbandi, Abhishaap, fusion with Korean dance-Salpuri and visited at Madagaskar, Mauritius, Korea Sri Lanka for performance. He has written a chapter in “Bhartiya Sangeetagya” by Dr. Lavanya Kirti Singh “Kavya”. He is enlisted as 'Performing Guru' by Association of Bharatanatyam Artists of India (ABHAI). Gyanendra is a 'Graded Artist' from Delhi Doordarshan Kendra. Various TV channels like Doordarhan, StarPlus, Aaj Tak, Sun TV, Raj TV  have been telecasting his classical dance performances from time to time.

Gyanendra Bajpai is a member of UNESCO-International Dance Council. He has presented twelve research papers in national/international seminars.
