Krithiga Ravichandran

Krithiga Ravichandran is a young upcoming Bharathnatyam artist from Pondicherry. She started her initial training in dance from Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Pondicherry. She is not only a dancer, but extended her academics to next level and doing research in Computer Science.  She has extensively travelled India and abroad and staged many dance shows. She has been teaching this beautiful art form through a dance school for the past five years. She is also doing her M.phil in dance at Tamil University, Tanjavur. 

Krithiga Conducted workshop at TVS School,  Hosur  and Thiruvannamalai.   Krithiga is an anchor in DD Podhigai for the programme Pudhuvai Kalanjiyam. She Judge for the State Level Bharathnatyam CompetitionVarnolsavam, Trivandrum, organized by the Kerala State Council for child Welfare in the year 2013.  She performed at JSS Auditorium, Bangalore for World dance Day Celebration  2013 by Sai Arts International.Theatre Festival, organized by South Zone Cultural Centre in association with Puducherry Art & Culture department and Drama department of Pondicherry University 2013.Nandikar International Theatre Festival,  Kolkata 2013.

Krithiga has received State Level Lectureship Eligibility from UGC in the field of Computer Science and National Level Lectureship Eligibility  in the field of Dance. She is the recipient of scholarship from Central Cultural Resources and Training New Delhi during the period 2004 - 2007.
