Koushik Bhattacharjee

Koushik Bhattacharjee started training under the guidance of his father - Late Pt. Pataki Bhattacharya and inspiration of his mother Rama Bhattacharya at a very tender age. He performed in festivals like International Children's Film Festivals & Music Festival of Arovinda Bhaban, Kolkata. In the year 1987, he was selected as a scholar by Sangeet Research Academy. His training continued under Pandit Arun Bhaduri of SRA. He later become the 'Ganda Bandh Shagrid' of Late Pandit K.G. Ginde. After that he trained under the guidance of Late Pandit Sunil Bose. 

Now Koushik Bhattacharjee is a regular artist of All India Radio & Television. He went to U.S.A., Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Norway & Bangladesh to participate prestigious music conferences. He recieved Sangeet Ratna title awarded by Bangiya Sangeet Parisad, Kolkata. He was also awarded Surmani from Sursinger Samsad, Mumbai. Now he empanelled artist of Indian Council For Cultural Relation.

Kaushik is attached as a Guru of Indian Classical Vocal in Gyan Banifm ( 105.4 MHZ) 'Sur Sabha' program on every Wednesday from 10pm to 11pm ( Live ). He is attached as a teacher of Indian Classical Vocal in 'Future Hope' school.kolkata. He received ‘Vocational Award 2008' from Rotary Club Of Salt Lake City Calcutta. He works as Examiner In Rabindra Bharati University & The Dover Lane Music Conference competition Kolkata.
