Anju K Chandran

Anju K Chandran started learning dance at the age of three.She started with Bharatanatyam and then gained knowledge of Mohniyattam and Kuchipudi from Kalamandalam Rama and performed with her troupe for 15 years. She learned different types of dances like Kathakali, Chakyar Koothu, Ottam Thullal, Folk dance etc from leading gurus of Kerala Kalamandalam.  Her 'Arangetram' was in famous Guruvayoor temple at the age of seven, from then she has performed in more than hundred stages. During her studies she won many prizes in school and was Kalathilakom of district level competition. Apart from dance, Anju had a great passion towards Music, She learned Carnatic Music, Ashtapathy and Violin. Her hobbies include Choreography, listening to music and Badminton.

More than 20 years of training and hundreds of stage performances in Indian classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi. Got intuitive dance passion which is identified by her mother and started learning classical dance at age of three. She got her first stage performance (Arangettam) at age seven in famous Guruvayoor temple. Selected as 'Kalathilakam' in district level dance competitions of Kerala.   She has performed in famous TV shows of 'Surya TV', ‘Kerala Doordarsan' and 'Jaya TV'.  She married to Ashly and living in USA.
