Manjusha Patil Kulkarni

Manjusha Patil was born in Sangli, a small town from Western Maharashtra, which carries a long tradition of having many music maestros of worldwide reckoned. Manjusha Patil is having inborn talent for music which she got from her home, her parents are great music lovers, who groomed Manjusha for her music career. She started her initial training from Pt. Chintubua Mhaiskar of Sangli. She completed ‘Sangeet Visharad’ from Akhil Bharatiy Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj in a due course of time.

After completing BA (Hindi) she had completed MA (Music) with Gold Medal, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. She achieved many prestigious music competitions. In one of the competition Late Sangeetacharya Pt. D.V. Kanebua of Ichalkaranji listen Manjusha and noticed her rich potential, which was a turning point in her career. Then she continued her taalim from Pt. Kanebua of Ichalkaranji on Gurukul pattern, of Agra and Gwalior Gharana.  She continued her training from late Pt. Narendra Kanekar, a senior disciple of Pt. Kanebua and from Dr. Vikas Kashalkar as well.  Currently Manjusha is under the able guidance of Padmashree Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar.

Manjusha Patil continued her delighting performances all over India and abroad. In various music conferences and festivals she marked her lasting impact through her brilliant performances. She has been gifted with a forceful & seasoned voice. Tunefulness, confidence of rhythm, purity in exposition of Raga, complex patterning of 'Taan', speed & clarity are a few other highlights of her singing. She also excels in Semi Classical Music & Light Music, especially Marathi Stage (NatyaSangeet) songs.Her portfolio reveals many important concerts and programs of national and international repute and awards bestowed on her.
