   Biography
Rhythmic classical dancer Meera Sreenarayanan

Meera Sreenarayanan is a young aspiring danseuse from Guruvayur. She is noted for her talents in performing classical dance Bharatanatyam. Her performance at  such a tender age is an indication that Meera is cut out for a prodigious future. She started learning dance from a very young age under the guidance of Guru Prakash Choondal and then from Guru R.L.V.Anand. Now she is pursuing her advanced studies in Bharatanatyam under Guru Smt. Kalakshetra Nirmala Nagaraj (Chennai).


In the youth festival she bagged many prizes for Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Folkdance and Mono act. She has many stage performances to her credit. She has all the potentials of a prodigy excellent memory, reasoning and rhythm that a classical dancer needs. She is always ready to perform despite all her commitments and thanks to all the encouragement from her gurus, parents and teachers. She is pursuing diploma in Bharathanatyam and  Mohiniyattam with Kalabharathi. She is also a third year graduation student in Physics at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur. She is a recipient of higher education scholarship from Govt. of Kerala, for her academics.

   Career
Meera Sreenarayanan performed on various occasions in all over India. Some of her performances are :

* Natarani Dance festival on 8th April 2013 at Darpana School of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad.
* Performed at Nishagandhi Festival, kanakakunnu, Thiruvananthapuram on 23 Jan 2013.
* Performed on World dance day 29th April 2011(Bharathatheeyam) programme by Sangeetha Nataka.
