Krishnaji's concerts have an uncanny unpredictability which makes them deeply refreshing. His com positional work includes numerous 'taranas' of unusual grace and structural vision and he is an inventive composer of many 'bandishes'. He is presently employed as Assistant Director (Archives) at Samvaad Foundation, which is a center for Research in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music.
At the Foundation he has assisted in recording and documenting numerous artists from all over the country, including many stalwarts like Pt. Balasaheb
Poonchwale, Pt. Amarnathji, Shobha Gurtu, Pt.Sharadchandra Arolkar, Ustad Aslam Khan, Pt. Babanrao Haldankar, Pt. Jagdeesh Prasad, Ustad Nizamuddin Khan and Pt. Ramashray Jha. He has thus received widespread exposure, at the foundation, to various musical styles that have influenced his own singing and compositions.
Krishnaji is a registered Music Teacher of the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Miraj. He has performed in many music festivals and conferences all over India. Krishnaji performs regularly on All India Radio (AIR).
He also gives public concerts and is an able instructor in vocal music, tabla and harmonium.
