3. Rahul Srivastava (Krishna Raj Kumar Sahay) was born on 19 July 1978 in a Kayastha family in Kankarbagh area of Patna, Bihar. His parents raised him in a very simple way. He was the only one among four sisters. He was interested in music and acting since childhood. His mother was late Mayarani Srivastava (former Accounts Officer, BSNL, Bihar Jharkhand) and father was late Ramesh Kumar Sahay (Telegraph Director, CTO, Patna). Being the only child of his parents, he also got a little pampering. When he was about 6 years old, an orchestra was organized in his locality, due to which he got a chance to sing and then he became fond of it. Along with studies, he also started singing. Meanwhile, his mother was transferred to Ranchi. There, along with studies, he joined a theatre institute and started doing plays. There too, he continued acting along with singing. After completing his matriculation from Gossner High School, Main Road, Ranchi and intermediate from there, he returned to Patna. He completed his graduation and post-graduation from Patna University. While living in Patna, he continued his singing work by joining a local orchestra (On Masoomi) of Patna. Gradually, he got inclined towards film acting. But due to lack of access, it was difficult to do anything in Patna. He decided to do something different. Then after taking formal training as a cameraman at Patna's Pataliputra Film and Television Institute, he worked as a cameraman in some albums. So through a film publicist (Prashant-Nishant) he met film director Bali ji and after talking to him he got a chance to do a scene in the film Chacha Bhatija. He made his presence felt in Bhojpuri cinema from his first film itself. After that he worked with Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua in the second film "Kasam Dharti Maiya Ki", whose director was Ajay Sinha, who gave cinema like "Sasura Bada Paisa Wala". This film was shot in Mandvi, Bhuj, Gujarat, whose producer was Rajesh Bhai Pappu Bhai, a big distributor of Bhojpuri. After that he went to Mumbai to work in films and after working in many films he settled there. But Patna is his entire family, so he keeps coming and going.
