   Biography
Saket Sahu is the violinist from Raipur. He is a musician Scholar at ITC SRA, Kolkata. Saket Sahu is the disciple of Pt. Radhakrishna Jha and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty.

   Career
VIOLINIST                                                 

A very talanted young violinist SAKET SAHU  was born on 23rd of July 1986 in a very musical family at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.from the very young age of 5, saket started receiving training from Guru Pandit Radhakrishna Jha, the great violin player and innovator of “Tarabdar” violin in his own style, and continued for 15 years. Afterwards, Saket  has selected in ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata as a residential A Grade scholar and obtaining a training of “Gayaki Ang” from the internationally acclaimed great vocalist and exponent of patiala gharana Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. Saket is a recognised artist of Akashvani and Doordarshan.

v  Performed in the 9th International Child  and Young Film Festival Hyderabad.

v  Performed in Sangeet Sankalpa, Ahmedabad.

v  Received “Sur Ratna” title and gold medal from Bhatkhande Lalitkala Shikshan Samiti Raipur.

v  Performed  at Uttaraadhikar Samaroh, organised by Alauddin Khan Academy, Balaghat (M.P.)

v  Performed at Bharat Bhawan Bhopal .

v  Performed at Sangeet Pratibha Utsav organised by Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi.

v  Performed at Chakardhar Samaroh 2006 organised by Chhattisgarh Govt. Culture Department , Raigarh.

v  Achieved the first prize in All India Radio Music Compition in 2006.

v   Received ITC Sangeet Research Academy Promising  Artist Award, Mumbai.

v  Received “Sur Mani” title from 52nd Swami Haridas Sangeet Sammelan 2007, Mumbai.

v  Performed in Yuva Sangeet Samaroh organised by SCZCC, Nagpur Govt. of India in 2008.

v  Received National Scholarship from the govt. of india in 2007 – 08.

v  Performed in Annual Conference of ITC Sangeet Research Academy in 2011.

With these attainments and the zeal he has saket is sure to go a long way in his musical journey.
