Desai is a regularly performs on AIR and DD as an interviewer and compere. She
has also anchored for many documentary films on DD. She has also been a popular
compere for more than 700 Marathi, Hindi programs. She has had the privilege of
comparing with great artists such like Shreedhar Phadke, Suresh Wadkar, Aarti
Ankalikar, Bela Shende, Shaunak Abhisheki, Manjusha Patil, etc. She also
anchors classical dance Bharatnatyam (Arangetram) programs.

Prashant Damle, Sudhir Gadgil, Sudhir Moghe, Pravin Davane, Sulajja- Jayashree

Seema Deo.

Desai is not just an interviewer but also a good writer. She is the writer and
compere of Balchitrawani and also various subjects in more than 50 programs.
She is also the lyricist for ‘badbadgeete’ and ‘gammat gaani’ for Sakal – leading Marathi newspaper. ‘Prakashyatri – Lui
Wrel’ and ‘Patientla Bhetayala Jatana’ this two are special books written by
Vinaya Desai.
