Choreography

People marvel at Asavari's deft hand in blending vocal and instrumental music with dance;

that she has started doing that since her childhood is the most astonishing aspect.
In “Prithwi” she described the abundance and the limitless variety The Mother earth offer to

us, humans, and so shows her greatfullness to Mother Earth, proud to be her child.
In “Abhisarika” she describes a young girl, playfully leaving the house to meet her

lover,setting aside otherwise interesting happenings that always drew her attention. Along

with these, a seasonal saawani (Rain -song), typical of monsoons advent “Ghan Barsat

Aale”-waiting for the coming of monsoon and then importantly how the rains changed

completely (the grief turning in to a joyful celebration) the atmosphere and so the human

lives....the list is long.

On Recorded music composed by Pandit - VishwaMohan Bhatt (Meghdutam).

On Recorded music composed by Pandit - Ravi Shankar (Sitar in Raga Khamaj and Megh Malhar).

Western classical ballet music- “Nutcracker” entirely done in Kathak dance style.

Many “Taranas” and Tabla bols by great maestros on which solo and group choreography was composed and amply appreciated.

Has choreographed a typical "Hori" song from North India,Bhajan "Bhaja Mann Narayan" again from North India which is sung by Bharat Ratna Shrimati Lata Mangeshkar and the Great Maestro of Hindustani classical Vocal Pt.Bhimsen Joshi. Asavari also has choreographed items like Abhanga and Ganesh Stuti which have received great applause from classes as well as masses.

Asavari has choreographed many songs and programs. She has choreographed theme based choreographies,taranas,on classical instruments ,shlokas and many more.She also has her own institute - Srushti Kathak Kendra.
