Anjali Kowligi

Blessed with a natural flair for art, anjali’s strong desire to learn kuchipudi was kindled age of five when her mother joined her in a local summer camp classes. is the daughter of Shri. Badrinath and Smt. Sudha Badrinath of Banaganapalli in Kurnool Distict. Having born into a traditional family, patronizing music and dance.Since childhood, she has given Solo performances and has attracted the attention and appreciation of art lovers by giving more than 800 performances in Solo, Group and Dance Ballets altogether in national & international level.Living in the boondocks, away from urban amenities, her strong zeal and fortitude to learn Kuchipudi has driven her not only to learn the art in a perfect manner but also has led her to take part in many national and state level competitions to prove her talent. With the help of theoretical guidance from her mother and enthusiastic encouragement from her father, she is confidently pursued her studies as well as dance with same enthusiasm.

Her relentless love towards dance has made her to take it as a profession and peruse multiple courses in dance and taken it as her career.

Ever since, she has been showing keen interest in this art form. Endowed with natural grace, anjali easily adapts herself into any role with ease.

Anjali has many Remarkable performances at national and international level few of them are:

·       She won atAll India Dance and Music Completions conducted by Navya Nataka Samiti (Hyderabad) for three consecutive years in sub junior, junior and senior sections and was awarded with rolling trophy.

·       She also secured prizes in All India Dance competitions conducted at Chilakuluripeta,Radha Madhava Rasa Ranjani, Guntur

·       She has been invited to perform at “Navneetam dance festival” at kerala. Performed at CHIDAMBARAM dance festival-tamil nadu. Performed at “Pallavostavam” Jaganmohan palace-Mysore, Jayanthi Nrityostavam at vizag. She also perfomed many times at Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Utsav  Mantralayam, Thyagaraja Aradhana Utsav at Chennai, also Performed in TTD brahmotsavam and performed in kala neerajanam(tirupathi).

·       She also been perfoming in shows telecasted in Doordarshan – Muvvalasavvadi, she is also a final winner of the show Shrutilayalu conducted by SVBC channel, also performed at Nada Neerajanam, Tirupati

·       She was also a receipent of prestigious Scholarship of CCRT (Centre for cultural resource & training) given by central govt.

Apart from dance Anjali is also very much interested in social services. In connection to this she joined into NSS (National Service Scheme) and it helped her to meet her interest to do many social service activities in rural schools and villages. She has also been to few prestigious camps that are conducted in state, national and intenationala levels like:

·       As a part of adventure camp conducted at ABVIMAS(Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaneering and Allied Sports) in Kulu- Manali  at Himachal Pradesh.

·       She has been to Nagpur for Pre- Republic Parede camp and been selected and sent to New-Delhi for a month and participated during “REPUBLIC DAY” parade at RajPath in “New-Delhi”. Also got a chance to showcase her talent before dignitaries like honorable PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT&PRIME-MINISTER of INDIA.

·       She was the only girl got selected to represent India at Maldives as an Indian delegate and youth ambassador for both telugu states in Youth Delegation Programme.

·       In honour of her sevice through NSS she Received State NSS(National Service Scheme) Awardee as a Best volunteer for the year 2015.

She was also Awarded with titles like prathibha nartaki, natya mayuri, natya sree, natya priya, natya ranjitha, Natya bharathi, kalabhinatri. Received Uva puraskar by Aradhana Arts (Hyderabad), Received “Krishnadevaraya puraskar”,”Kala Ratna” (k.c pullaiah foundation)
