Milind Raikar is a very renowned violinist in Today's Generation. He is mainly disciple of Padmashri Pandit D.K.Datar and Padmavibhushan Gaansaraswati Kishori Amonkar. Milind has developed an Unique 'Gayaki' style of playing violin which is very melodious, soothing, soulful which is very close to human voice. He has cultivated his music with a perfect coalesce of tutelage that he has received from various Gurus of high acclaim. Initially he studied western music from Goa's well-known Violinist Prof. A. P. DaCosta and completed Grade 4 from Trinity College of London.
Later on the request of his Father he shifted to Hindustani Classical Music, under the able guidance of his father Late Shri Atchut Raikar, Then from Pt.B.S.Math (Dharwad) and Pt.Vasantrao Kadnekar(Goa) .
