Qureshi, gripping the art of Tabla and Punjab Gharana from the Maestro from 2006.
Nisarg learnt the basics of Indian Classical Music from his mother
Smt. Rekha Bhandare, herself an eminent writer in the field of Marathi
Literature and a versed listener of Indian classical music. Nisarg performs
with Classical and semi-classical Vocal and instrumental Indian music as well
as dance. . Blessed with a Natural sense of Rhythm and performing instinct,
Nisarg's Tabla playing shows huge influence of his Guru Ustad Fazal Qureshi and
his Khalifa Ustad Zakir Hussain. This influence has resulted in added charm in
his stage performances. Nisarg has performed at many prestigious Music
Festivals of India. . His performance is acknowledged equally by the
connoisseurs and the Youth.
Nisarg has performed at many prestigious Indian Music festivals in
India. His solo presentation at the “Ustad Allarakha Guru Pournima Celebration”
at Mumbai in July 2015 was widely appreciated by the esteemed guest artistes. He
has accompanied his Guru in many prestigious concerts like Saptak
Festival(Ahmedabad), Hriday-Drishyam Sammelan(Bhopal) and Damru
Festival(Pune). He has also performed at prestigious music festivals of India
such as Pt Bhimsen Joshi Memorial Festival(Gadag, Karnatak), Shani Jayanti
Akhil Bhartiya Sangit Samaroh(Indore), Sangeet Sankalp festival(Kota,
Rajasthan),ITC-SRA Anahad Music Festival(Mumbai), Pt. Lalmani Mishra Sangeet
Samaroh( Kanpur, UP ), Swarmadhav Sangeet Mahotsav(Dharwad),
