Abhinandan Chatterjee is one of the leading young exponents of Kathak (North Indian classical dance). Previously he was the disciple of the great kathak Gurus Sri. Brojen Mukherjee and Smt. Madhumita Roy(Senior disciple of Pt. Birju Maharaj). Recently he is the disciple of Sri Ashimbandhu Bhattacharya (Kolkata).
Abhinandan has enriched his dance with Nritta, Speed, Abhinaya, Gestures, Layakari, Grace and Beauty. He also took training of vocal music from Pt. Kaivalyakumar Gurav ,Sri Animesh Chatterjee, Smt. Anindita Ganguly and Smt.Susmita Goswami . Abhinandan has got the titles like- Sangeet Visharad, Sangeet Ratna, Nritya Bharati, Sangeet Pravakar and Naatya Kumara from the different Universities and Institutions. His performance appreciated by the audience of the various parts of West Bengal, Bangalore, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam etc.
Now he is the Head of the Music Department of D.A.V.Public School, Rupnarayanpur (West Bengal) and the Director and Owner of 'Srijoni' Cultural Organisation , Rupnarayanpur(West Bengal).
