Anurag Abhinav

Anurag Abhinav was born in a traditional Hindu family of India. He grew-up in a family of educators, artists and scientists. His family has always loved and practiced various forms of arts and literature excluding music. Anurag Abhinav was the first one to choose music as a learning subject in his family. At the young age of fourteen, his mother and father recognized his singing talent and decided that he should start his formal training in Hindustani Classical Singing. His father and mother were well-known fine artists, educators, poets and literature scholars. Fortunately for Anurag Abhinav, ‘Patna’ happens to be a 'town of musicians'.For over a century, Patna and its surroundings have served as a performing center for the popular musicians and artists of India. Anurag Abhinav completed his matriculation and started taking proper training of Hindustani Classical Music from his guru without wasting any more time.  

 

From the very beginning, he had the opportunity to meet many great artists and musicians and appear in various performances. Anurag Abhinav completed his graduation with Zoology in the year 1998. Further, he completed his post-graduation in Zoology stream from Magadh University in the year 2000.  

 

Anurag Abhinav completed Senior and Junior Diploma In Vocal as well as Instrumental Music, Sangeet Prabhakar (Six Years Bachelor Degree Course), Sangeet Praveen (Eight Years Master’s Degree Course), Sangeet Bhaskar and Sangeet Visharad in Music.

Anurag Abhinav has mastery on both Indian and Western Music. Anurag Abhinav has been performing music on many stages, TV, Radio, and other private platforms at various places throughout India. Anurag Abhinav has been offering lessons to students of all ages. His students come from various backgrounds including school-college students and professionals. Anurag Abhinav has fourteen years of experience in teaching music to students aged 3 to 40 years.  

 

Anurag Abhinav always believed that music and art played a significant role in his upbringing and in his social and emotional development. This inspired him to choose teaching as a profession where he can develop and implement a curriculum that allows him to share his knowledge and personal experience with his disciples.  

 

Anurag Abhinav believes that to be an idol musician/singer, you have to have more than a good voice. You need to have presence, a connection with the songs and understand what you're presenting in front of the audience.  

 

Anurag Abhinav says that one instrument you have with you at all times is your voice. Anurag Abhinav always believed that one of the keys to vocal success is keeping the essence of what the songs represent by capturing what makes them special. Anurag Abhinav brings his knowledge of musical expression and performance to the groups of eager singers and young talents. With a natural gift for vocal artistry, Anurag Abhinav not only is a well-performing singer/musician, lyricist, music composer, writer, intellect but also teaches music to young generation and helps the 'Future Idols of Music' perform and arrange their music selections, he is a wonderful mentor and in many ways a true musician/artist.
