Faiyaz Khan has
participated in a several music competitions and has awarded and won the prestigious award of national competition
of A.I.R in 1989 (1st prize) and up graded from A.I.R and has accompanied the noted artists of India on Sarangi, like late DR. GANGU
BAI HANGAL , PT C.R VAYAS , P.T M.R. GAUTHAM , DR. PRABHA ATRE , PT AJAY
POHANKAR, PT. ANINDO CHATERJI , PT. SURESH TALVALKAR , PT. YOGESH SAMSI , PT.
SHUBHANKAR BANERJI , PT. VIJAY GHATE, etc.
He moved to Bangalore and he started working for
south film industrie and he has worked with very famous music directors like
A.R REHMAN .RAJAN NAGANDRA . VIJAY BHASKAR
. HAMSLEKHA .. M.M KEERVANI .. RAMAN GOUKULA .. V. MANOHAR . GURU KIRAN
(etc). He also sang many famous title songs of tv serials and has composed many
kathak ballets
Faiyaz Khan has performed abroad at Malasiya, Dubai, China, Singapore,
etc. Also he is connected with the
instutions which are seriously working
on pure classical music like ( ARION SCHOOL OF MUSIC
blor) and (Bharteeya Sangeeth Vidyalaya Cochin).
