Biography
Smt. Sarita Bhave. He received his early training in singing from his parents and then from Shri. Ram Deshpande, the accomplished Hindustani Classical vocalist of Gwalior Gharana. He has also had the good fortune to receive guidance in Natyasangeet from legendary artist Shri. Ramdas Kamat. Shrirang, in his professional career as a vocalist, has won prestigious awards and scholarships such as "Vasantrao Deshpande Yuva Purskar" - 2012 and "Swararaj Chota Gandharva Smruti Puraskar" - 2011, "Pt. Ram Marathe Natyasangeet scholarship" by Dadar Matunga Cultural Center. Shrirang exhibited his talent in television singing reality shows such as Doordarshan Sahyadri channel's "Maharashtra Sangeet Ratna" where he was the runner-up. His talent really came into lime light with his participation in Zee TV Marathi's famous reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" - 2010. His singing was appreciated by the judges, audiences and many guest stalwarts alike and many prestigious projects came his way ever since, such as his playback singing in Nitin Desai's much acclaimed Marathi cinema "Balgandharva" - 2011.
