Shakil Warsi, a multifaceted personality, is an Urdu enthusiast and an excellent compere of Ghazal shows/ musical shows. He is also a TV actor and a talented script writer. 1. Kahkashan'..a Ghazal show in memory of Begum Akhtar at veer Savarkar auditorium
2. 'Yaad humein bhi karlena', in memory of Madan Mohan and Surrya at Tej pal auditorium
3. Ghazal Sufiyana at Rang Sharda auditorium.
4. has compered many 'Ghazal Bahar' festivals with Ashok Khosla, Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz , Radhika Chopra, Suresh Wadekar, Chandan Das and Jaspinder Narula.These shows were organised at Nehru Centre Mumbai and various auditoriums at pune.
5. has compered many musical concerts in memory of Mohad Rafi, Surraya , Madan Mohan, OP Nayyar, RD Burman at various auditoriums in Mumbai: YB Chavan, Aspi, Probodhan Thakray and others
6. has organisede and compered (nazim) many grand Mushairas with India's leading poets: Waseem Bareilvi, Johar kanpuri , Nawaz Deobandi , Iqbal Ashar, Deepti Misra , Sagar Tripathi etc.
7. Shakil Warsi now runs DREAM ZONE MEDIA, his event management, film making services and shows organising company.
