Career

Worked as performing Artist in Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Bangladesh. Performed and presented many Radio and Television Drama Ballet, Dance,Vocal in1974 to 1984 in Bangladesh.

Kajal gave several individual performances at International, National and state level. Also she performed in the programes organised by Sangeet Natak Academy Gujarat.International programs at -Bangladesh, Japan, Singapur, Pakistan, Bhuj, Baroda, Bhavnagar, Amritsar, Puri, Surendranagar, Vibrant Gujarat, Gandhinagar, Savarkund, Delhi, Leh-Ladakh, Nainital, Chattisgarh, Kanpur, Orrissa, West Bengal, Mathura Jammuand Kashmir etc.

Kajal Mulye presents Dance Ballet Lalkamal Nilkamal

: Lalkamal Nilkamal is a popular Bengali folktale for children. “I smell a man that I am gonna eat", this is a dangerous story, which begins in a faraway land, its a story of people who ate up their kids, a story of gold and iron and one which entailed long journeys. Kajal Mulye depicts this story wonderfully in her dance ballet.

Kajal Mulye presents Dance Ballet Draupadi Vastravaran

This dance ballet depicts the scene of Mahabharata of Draupadi Vastraharan. Duryodhana orders Dushasana to disrobe Draupadi. Seeing her husbands' passivity, Draupadi prays to Krishna to protect her. A miracle occurs henceforward, which is popularly attributed to Krishna. As the Pandavas and the court looks away, Dushasana unwraps layers and layers of her sari. But as her sari keeps getting extended, everyone looks upon in awe, and Dushasana himself is forced to stop due to exhaustion.

Awards & Achievements

She also received scholarship from I.C.C.R Govt. of India 1984 to 1987. Then she received scholarship in 1997 To 1999 and for Ph.D in 2000 to 2004from Bhavnagar

Teaching Indian classical Dance Kathak to young girls since 1989, as the Director of ‘Kalabharti’ (An Institute of Performing Arts)Bhavnagar. (Affiliated to A.B.G.M.V. Mandal,Miraj,1989)
