Biography

Aishwarya Rao was initiated into the world of Hindustani Classical music at the tender age of 5, under the guidance of Smt. Prathhatai Deoskar. She was guided subsequently by Smt. Apurva Gokhale and Smt. Shruti Gokhale. She is currently under the tutelage of Pandita Shubhadatai Paradkar of the Gwalior- Agra-Jaipur gharana in the guru - shishya parampara.

She has been receiving the scholarship given by the Center for Cultural Resources and Training (Govt of India) since the age of 10 and has always been evaluated as outstanding.

Awards & Achievements

Aishwarya Rao has been receiving the scholarship given by the CCRT - Center for Cultural Resources and Training (Govt. of India) since the age of 10 and has always been evaluated as outstanding.

She was one of the junior artists invited by Pt. N Rajam to perform at Gadhkari Rangayatan, Thane.

She has won a number of prizes at inter- school, inter-college and inter- state level namely:

* 1st place- Surshastra (Rotary club of Thane North).

* 1st place in Sur (Rotaract Club of fhane) for four consecutive years.

* 1st place in Saradhana Samiti at both junior and sub-junior levels.

* 1st place - Rasikajan (Talegaon, Dabhade),

* 1st place - Swaradhana (Fine Arts Society, Chembur).

* 2nd place - Srutimanch Sangeet Kaki Academy, Aurangabad.

* She has won the Pt. V.D.Paluskar Award which is given by Sharada Sangeet Vidyalaya, Bandra.
