Biography

Namaskar

I grew up with my kind and Idealist, Parents Shubhada and Premanand Borkar with brother Durgesh who was extremely tayyar on tabla .

Thus,started my systematic training under my mother till she lived , at the same time at Swarmandal , Anushaktinagar.from 1980 till 1992 when I got my Sangeet Visharad ( Diploma )....

My father got me my Harmonium and tanpoora very early, and had me attend the best of concerts and listen to good music on the radio,television and tape recorder....from time to time also keen that I do not neglect my studies...

All the electronic gadgets tabla etc were provided,

I was even fortunate to attend the Sawai gandherwa in 1994 which created a great impact on my mind I was good with languages and used to read for hours ...

When others played out I won prizes every year in all my music competitions and the credit goes to my mother,

She was like a pillar with me at all my times and my father had me doing things with elegance and dignity .Parents were good at languages, acting, writing, poetry and emphasized on purity of dialects while speaking and writing....

All three of us, read good literature and post reading and discuss over it....

I have been constantly in,to work connected with speech delivery , writing and singing till now and intend to update with the quality of my skills from time to time. I have been particularly fond of Carnatic music and Western classical music from several years... It fascinates melike a magnet. Old melodies and film songs,attracted me to thumri when I saw the voice throw and harkats. I intend to continue with m poetry writing,training students with voice culture and Classical performances , occassionally composing by impulse ..
