Sanjeev in depth resonant voice, utmost control and command over swaras and emotional exposition of Raga reaches the soul of the listener. The scintillating cascading and lightning taans, traditional gamak Taans and Boltaans of Kirana Gharana give an artistic form to his Gayaki. Sargamas with emotional touch and deep breath control are some of his own contributions to music. Apart from classical singing, he can effortlessly present Thumris. Dadras, Marathi Abhangs, Natyasangeet and also render with emotional bliss Devotional songs in various languages such as Kannada, Hindi, Gujarathi, Telugu, Bengali, etc., His appealing performances at each and every concert has gained him love and affection of the people throughout the country and abroad. His composition of new Raga Jayasharada reflects his deep devoted musical thinking and exploration of new dimensions and intricacies in music.
He has performed at many prestigious organizations and conferences such as NCPA, Mumbai, ITC, Kolkata, NGRI, Hyderabad, T.N. Arts Circle, Chennai, TTD-Trust, Tirupati, Maharashtra mandal Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Cutack, Rajkot, Indore, Jhansi, etc., Yavanika, Bangalore, Chaturang Pratishthan, Y. B. Chavan Pratishthan, Dadar-Matunga Cultural Center, Mumbai, Navraspur Sangeetotsav organized by the Government of Karnataka at Bijapur, Mysore Dasara Festival, Mysore, Ranga-Gayaki, Bharat Gayan Samaj, Abhijat, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, Navi Mumbai, Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Sammelan, Kundgol, Kirana Music Festival, Dharwad and Bangalore, etc., to name a few. Also he has performed at the Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh 2011, Varanasi and made the audience reminiscent of Panditji’s memories through his distinctive rendition.
He tours extensively for private, public and fund raising programmes. He was invited to the UAE in November 1998 and his performances at various music circles at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc., has left a mark in the minds of the listeners which they have cherished till today. His name has been enlisted in the ASIAN AMERICAN WHO’S WHO OF 1998-99, Vol I, Pg. 346 and ASIAN PACIFIC WHO’S WHO OF 1998-99, Vol II. He is a regular artist of AIR, Pune and Doordarshan.
He is based at Pune and continues to explore from the eternal treasure of music left behind by Panditji.
