Antara Nandy

Antara Nandy is originally from Assam (Guwahati) and was born at Sivasagar district of Assam. She started her education at “Budding Buds Sr. Secondary School” at Tinsukia district of Assam before moving to Kolkata.

Presently Antara is a student of Delhi Public School – Ruby Park and stays at Kolkata. Antara is a Foodie and her passions in life are music, studies, drawing, good food and collecting different types of boots.

Her potential for vocals was spotted at a very early age of 4 yrs and immediately she started her training on vocals. At the age of 5 years she started her training under the guidance of Padmashree Ustaad Rashid Khan.

Antara loves old melodious songs as well as the modern songs. She can sing in 4 different languages from the age of 10 yrs. Antara aims to make it big some day in the field of music and acting associating with some global brands.

Antara has performed at various shows and events nationally as well as internationally and has also sung for a couple of Bengali TV serial. Antara has appeared for various interviews and shows in many national and regional channels and also on FMs. Antara is also the brand ambassador of SIP Abacus and Brain Gym and advertised for SIP. Her USP is making the audience dance to her tunes with a perfect combination of interaction, melodious and versatile voice and dance / moves.

Today she has performed in various stages nationally and internationally and is a sought after artist among various section of music connoisseurs.

Antara was the youngest vocalist to perform at the prestigious Durbar Hall, Kolkata at her age of 8 years. Antara is also the winner of “ULLAS” (Inter school competition). 

Antara’s first major show was at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata at the age of 9 years. The first breakthrough in her career came when she qualified for the FINAL ROUNDS of the singing reality show “SA RE GA MA PA Little Champs 2009” on Zee TV thumping thousands of contestants from all over the country. She was one of the TOP three girls of this show (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa LilChamps 2009). Antara’s songs were appreciated by all the legend judges of the show like Asha Bhosle, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shaan, Daler Mehandi, Preetam, Alka Yagnik, Abhijeet, Khayam Sahab and many others .

Antara was given the title ALBELI by the Kavita Krishnamurthy during the Lil Champs show and since then she is popularly called *ALBELI ANTARA*.
